PrepSheet is now ChefSums

PrepSheet, the free recipe costing and GP tool for UK kitchens, was renamed ChefSums on 19 October 2026. The tools, your saved recipes and the prices are the same. Only the name, the logo and the web address changed.

What changed

• The name: PrepSheet is now ChefSums, one word.
• The address: getprepsheet.com is now chefsums.com. Every old link redirects to the same page here, so bookmarks, guides and printed QR codes still work.
• The logo and colours.

What stayed the same

• Every free calculator, the recipe costing and prep sheet tool, the costed UK dishes and the free templates. Still no sign-in and no card.
• Your account and saved recipes. Sign in as before.
• ChefSums Plus (formerly PrepSheet Plus): same plan, same price, same billing date. Nothing to do if you subscribe.
• The ChatGPT and Claude connector at chefsums.com/ai.

Questions people ask

Is ChefSums the same as PrepSheet?

Yes. ChefSums is the new name for PrepSheet, run by the same small team led by a working UK chef. Nothing about the tools or your data changed. ChefSums is not connected with Prepsheets, a separate recipe costing company in Dublin.

Do I need to do anything?

No. Old links redirect, and accounts and subscriptions carry over. If you installed the Android app, it keeps working as before.
